Chlorothalonil
Chlorothalonil (2,4,5,6-tetrachloroisophthalonitrile) is an organic compound mainly used as a broad spectrum, non-systemic fungicide, with other uses as a wood protectant, pesticide, acaricide, and to
Amitraz
Amitraz is a triazapentadiene compound, a member of the amidine chemical family. It is an insecticide and acaricide used to control red spider mites, leaf miners, scale insects, and aphids. On cotton it is used to control bollworms, white fly, and leaf worms. On animals it is used to control ticks, mites, lice and other animal pests.
Azamethiphos
Azamethiphos is an organophosphorus pesticide, which works by interfering with the transmission of nerve impulses. It has been used in a spray form to control insects such as cockroaches and flies in buildings, warehouses and intensive farming installations. It has also been used as veterinary drug in Atlantic salmon fish farming to control parasites, i.e. in UK (particularly in Scotland) in fish farming, to control external parasites such as sea lice on the Atlantic Salmon. This application replaces the use of the hazardous "red list" pollutant Dichlorvos.
Cyromazine
Cyromazine is an insect growth regulator belonging to the triazine derivatives, it interferes with the chitin metabolish of insect, treated larvae will not molt to the next stage and thus the cycle of the fly will be interrupted, it also shows a high specificity for fly larvae. First instar larvae are more susceptible to cyromazine than 2nd or 3rd instars. The effect on the adult fly population becomes visible approx.2 weeks after 1st application of it.
Diazinon
Diazinon is a thiophosphoric acid ester, non-systemic organophosphate insecticide for control cockroaches, silverfish, ants, flies and fleas in residential, non-food buildings. It’s heavily used in the previous for general-purpose gardening use and indoor pest control. A bait form was used to control scavenger wasps widely. Diazinon is used in flea collars for domestic pets in Australia and New Zealand. An emergency antidote is atropine.
Dinotefuran
Dinotefuran is a neonicotinoid insecticide developed by Mitsui Chemicals for control of insect/pests such as aphids, whiteflies, thrips, leafhoppers, leafminers, sawflies, mole cricket, white grubs, lacebugs, billbugs, beetles, mealybugs, and cockroaches on leafy vegetables, in residential and commercial buildings, and for professional turf management. It’s also used in veterinary medicine as a flea and tick preventative for dogs and as a flea preventative for cats. It is used in combination with pyriproxifen or permethrin. Its mechanism of action involves disruption of the insect's nervous system by inhibiting nicotinic acetylcholine receptors. In order to avoid harming beneficial insects such as bees, it should not be applied during bloom.
Eprinomectin
Eprinomectin is active in animals against internal and external parasites. Its precise mode of action is similar as other avermectins. Eprinomectin is a semi-synthetic compound of avermectin family, intend for the treatment of internal and external parasites in cattle and in lactating cows.
Etofenpox
Etofenprox is an insecticide, which disturbs insect nervous systems following direct contact or ingestion, and which is active against a broad spectrum of pests. It is used in agriculture, horticulture, viticulture, forestry, animal health and public health against many insect pests, for instance Lepidoptera, Hemiptera, Coleoptera, Diptera, Thysanoptera and Hymenoptera. In agriculture, etofenprox is used on a broad range of crops such as rice, fruits, vegetables, corn, soybeans and tea. It is poorly absorbed by roots and little translocation occurs within plants. In the public health sector, etofenprox is used for vector control either by direct application in infested areas or indirectly by impregnating fabrics, such as mosquito nets. Etofenprox is used at low volumes to control adult mosquitoes, non biting midges, biting and non-biting flies. Etofenprox is used undiluted for ultra low volume aerosol applications or diluted with a diluent such as mineral oil for direct applications, for the control of pest species in or near residential, industrial, commercial, urban, recreational areas, woodlands, golf courses, and other areas where these pests are a problem.
Fenoxycarb

Application: Fenoxycarb is a carbamate insect growth regulator. It is used as a fire ant bait and for flea, mosquito and cockroach control. Fenoxycarb can also be used to control butterflies and moths (Lepidoptera), scale insects, and sucking insects on olives, vines, cotton and fruit. It is also used to control these pests on stored products. Fenoxycarb blocks the ability of an insect to change into the adult stage from the the juvenile stage (metamorphosis). It also interferes with larval molting, the periodic shedding or molting of the old exoskeleton and production of a new, larger one. Fenoxycarb is often formulated as a grit or corncob bait.
Fipronil
Originator: Aventis/Bayer/BASF Brand name: Frontline, TopChoice, Over’n Out, Maxforce FC Bait Dosage: not available. Application: fipronil is used for the control of fleas on cats and dogs. Cockroach indoors, control termite/fine ants in home and other structures.
Fluazuron
Originator: Novartis Animal Health Brand name: Acatak Dosage: 1.5mg a.il/kg for control of Boophilus microplus; 2.5mg a.i./kg for control of Boophilus microplus & B.decoloratus, multihose ticks. etc. Application: a tick growth regulator for beef cattle, an acarine growth regulator of benzoyl-phenyl-ureas(BPUs) group, it interferes the chitin synthesis, treat immature ticks are unable to moult to the next stage, and no larvae will hatch from eggs laid by treated females, it’s specially suited for control of one-host ticks of the genus boophilus, in in situations where cattle serve as unique or major host for immature and adult stages of multihost ticks, the repeated use of it may also lead to a substantial reduction of the multihose tick population.
Lufenuron
Originator: Novatis Brand name: Program; Dosage: not known Application: Lufenurn is applied as veterinary for flea control, heartworm control, as well as anthelmintic medicine, etc; It is stored in the animal's body fat and transferred to adult fleas through their bite. Adult fleas transfer it to their eggs by its presence in the mother flea's blood, or by the larva feeding on pre-digested blood. It is a benzoylurea insecticide which inhibits the production of chitin in larval fleas, without chitin, a larval flea will never develop an exoskeleton, attacking the ability to create chitin may make Lufenuron a remedy against fungal infections, such as ringworm, it has no known toxic effects at any dosage on humans or other animals in the environment that do not depend on chitin, though the orally-administered pills can sometimes cause an upset stomach with acid reflux. Lufenuron is also sold as a crop protection insecticide by Syngenta for use against lepidoptera, eriophid mites, and Western flower thrips, it’s widely applied on a variet of crops. i.e. soybean, maize. Lufenuron is considered to be an effective anti-fungal in plants, it’s same due to it biochemically inert to mammals, it’s not broken down by the liver or kidkeys. It’s anti-fungal property may be due to it’s inhibiting the synthesis of chitin, which makes up roughly 33% of the typical fungal cell wall.

Dazomet
Dazomet is a soil fumigant that acts as a herbicide, fungicide, and nematicide. It’s a chemical used to kill pests that inhibit plant growth through gaseous degradation. Dazomet is used as a soil sterilant on a variety of sites such as golf courses, nurseries, turf sites, and potting soils Dazomet is used for soil sterilization as an alternative to methyl bromide. Although less effective it is still used to kill pests because of its comparatively lower toxicity. Dazomet is applied to wet soil, which causes dazomet itself to decompose into a gaseous form, which is what actively controls pests. The decomposition of dazomet releases methyl isothiocyanate (MITC) a gas toxic to pests that would prevent or kill plant growth.
